Open Day 2026

Get our tips for the start of the season
 

Spring is just around the corner – we cordially invite you to join us in Greifswald on 11 April 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to kick off the new season. At our open day, you will gain exclusive insights into yacht equipment, boat building and everything you need for a successful start to the season. Together with our shipyard colleagues from Werftgenossen and Hempel, we will share first-hand practical knowledge – ideal for getting you fully prepared to take to the water.

Our lecture programme
 

We have put together a varied programme:

10:30 a.m. – Sail & canopy maintenance

Learn from our sailmakers how to optimally care for your materials, extend their service life and trim your sails correctly.
 

11:30 a.m. – Rig check

Our mast construction experts will show you what is important when checking the rig so that you can start the season safely, and will give you valuable tips on rig trim.
 

1:30 p.m. – Energy management

Our electronics engineers provide expert insights into the correct handling of battery charging, energy optimisation on board and practical tips for working with solar panels and other equipment.
 

2:30 p.m. – Boat maintenance

The team from “Werftgenossen” provide valuable tips on caring for and maintaining the value of your boat.
 

3:30 p.m. – Biocide-free systems

Hempel provides information about modern, environmentally friendly antifouling coatings without biocides.
 

Shop discounts and raffle
 

Our shop is open all day – with attractive discounts on all products. Try your luck in our raffle and win high-quality products from our yacht rquipment shop.
 

Culinary stop
 

At lunchtime, a small barbecue station will take care of your physical well-being, while you can take the opportunity to chat with other boat owners. Enjoy the first spring air right by the water and let us spoil you. Our beverage station with coffee, drinks and biscuits is available for snacks between meals.
 

Making sailing boats
 

We have prepared a special highlight for our younger visitors – build your own sailing boat and launch it on the Ryck. Which mini yacht will be the first to reach the finish line?
